Colored cable ties
In addition to the standard black and natural colors, cable ties are also available in a wide range of other colors. Colored cable ties make it easier to locate the tie when it needs to be removed, but they can also simply be chosen to better match the intended application.
Available colors
Our universal cable ties are available in black, natural, blue, brown, yellow, gray, green, orange, purple, red, and white. Due to the large number of sizes and variations, we offer 229 variants of our universal WKK cable ties. For the Ty-Rap® brand, we offer 125 variants.
Choosing the right color cable tie
For most applications, black cable ties are sufficient, as they are generally considered the standard. Black cable ties also have the added advantage of being UV-resistant—this is particularly important for outdoor use, where the cable tie is exposed to direct sunlight.
However, when cable ties are used in a white or light-colored environment, such as in laboratories or museums, a light-colored (natural or white) cable tie may be preferred. The same applies to other available colors: in addition to securing cable bundles, a colored cable tie can also serve as a way to mark the bundled object. Additionally, using a red cable tie, for example, can make it blend in better when securing red cables.
Detectable cable ties
Detectable cable ties are blue to comply with HACCP guidelines. Blue is a rare color in nature, especially in the food industry, for which the HACCP guideline was developed. However, not all blue cable ties are detectable. Our universal WKK and Ty-Rap® cable ties, even in blue, are not detectable. View our range of detectable cable ties here.
