The pro's and cons of the different options
Fixation clips are the ideal solution for fixation and guidance of cables on profiles. When managing cables for solar panels, fixation clips seem to be a good and reliable option. As a manufacturer of these clips, we've also noticed that our business within the solar industry is continually growing. In regards to the cable ties you use with fixation clips, there are various options. Let's discuss the pro's and cons.
1. Fixation clips and cable ties seperate
You can order the clips and cable ties seperate from each other. That way you will have the flexibility to use both products as you wish. It is possible to preassemble them or to place the clips first and then add the cable ties second. Next to that, having your clips and cable ties separate means that you can easily pull the cable tie closure towards you. This option might be a bit more time consuming though.
2. Preassembled fixation clips and cable ties
It is possible to have your fixation clips and cable ties already assembled. That way you will not have to do this yourself, which will save you time. The same as with the clips and cable ties separate, it's easy to pull the cable tie closure towards you.
3. Fixation clip and cable tie in one
A third option is to order fixation clips that already have a tie attached to them. This all-in-one option means you only have to order 1 product and that you will not have to assemble anything yourself. This option does give you less flexibility because the cable tie closure is linked to the fixation clip.
