Fixation clips are used to create a (permanent) fixing point on, for example, a profile or sheet metal. Some types of clips have been developed for use on rails, such as those used in the installation of solar panels. Additionally, there are several other types of fixation clips, each with its own specific applications.

Types of Fixation Clips
Edge Clip
An edge clip is attached to the edge of a profile. Because the dimensions of the clip are matched to the profile, you are assured of a tight, reliable fit. Additionally, the clip contains a metal clamp with barbs that ensure the clip stays firmly in place.
- Suitable profile thickness:
- 0.7 – 3.0 mm
- 3.0 – 6.0 mm
- Cable orientation relative to the profile:
- Lengthwise along the profile
- Perpendicular to the profile
- Four directions
- Cable position relative to the profile:
- Top side
- Side
- Top side and side
- Thickness of cable(s), connector, corrugated tubing:
- 1 x 1.0 – 45.0 mm

Edge clips are available in various packaging quantities: 100, 500, or 1,000 pieces.
Fixation Clip with Lamella Base
A fixation clip with a lamella base is placed into a pre-drilled hole, for example, in sheet metal. The lamellae ensure a secure fit in the drilled hole.
- Hole diameter:
- 6.3 – 7.0 mm
- 7.7 – 8.0 mm
- Sheet thickness:
- 0.5 – 3.0 mm
- 0.5 – 6.0 mm
- Thickness of cable(s), connector, corrugated tubing:
- 1 x 1.0 – 45.0 mm

Fixation Clip with Expansion Anchor
A fixing clip with an expansion anchor is also placed into a pre-drilled hole or rail profile. The anchor ensures a solid fixation of the clip.

- 6.5 ± 0.2 mm
- 6.5 – 7.0 mm
- 6.3 – 6.7 mm
- M10 / 7.0 mm deep
- M8 / 6.9 mm deep
