Solar clips
Solar clips help save time when it comes to cable management in solar panel installations. These clips are quick and easy to install without the use of tools. WKK offers three types of clips suitable for various solar applications.
Solar clips are used to guide cables along mounting profiles in solar panel systems. By attaching the solar clips to the profile on which the solar panels are mounted, you can easily secure the solar panel cables.
Properties of solar clips
Our clips are made from plastic (polyamide 6.6 HS) and are impact-resistant, heat- and weather-resistant, and robust. The fastening clips are developed and produced by our subsidiary, WKK Automotive. The clamp inside the clip is made of spring steel with a hardened, coated surface to protect against corrosion. The clip clamps firmly onto the profile, ensuring a secure attachment.
Solar clips can be used in temperatures ranging from -40°C to +120°C.
Which solar clip do you need?
Solar clips are ideal for securing cables, wires, and tubes to a profile. To choose the right type of solar clip, you need to consider the dimensions of the profile. Types SC1 and SC2 can be attached to an M8 or M10 aluminium profile in combination with a cable tie. Type SKC1 can be mounted on a profile without a cable tie and is designed to secure two cables with a diameter of 6 mm.
Types SC1 and SC2 are available both with and without a cable tie.
